When I was a kid, we used to eat sliced up bananas and peaches with a dollop of sour cream. Alright, maybe a little more than a dollop.

I loved it!

Sometimes, we’d add in strawberries.

After doing some grocery shopping and having just the right ingredients in the fridge, I decided to try my hand at this delicious, refreshing treat!

Peaches are out of season, so I substituted blueberries.

Getting groceries. Took a detour in produce.

Peaches have never tasted so good!

The kind you can smell before you pick it up, with just enough give in the skin to know it’s that perfectly ripe and juicy.

They were so good and I was so excited about the Georgia Senate seats I ate two.

I have no regrets.

A Barrel of Joy

I had a ten minute conversation on where I wanted to eat lunch, most of that with myself.   I finally decided on Cracker Barrel. Good food, reasonable prices, good atmosphere for writing. I have my rituals for pretty much every place I go. Cracker Barrel is a glance around the store and a trip to the bathroom before I get settled in my seat with whatever I’ve brought to do. Today it was my kindle and keyboard.
