We’re in the last five days. Some of us are winding down, some of us are desperately trying to reach that 50,000 word mark. For all of us, we have some kind of writing goal, so take a look at your story notes and outline, and see what you can work on these last few days.

I know, I know, you’re already writing constantly, but this is a journal for you, and to carry you through the editing in December. It will give you a few moments to clear your mind, do some long-hand writing, and then proceed with your novel and its editing. Give it a try.
Combat Writer’s Block
One way is to do something else. Watch a thirty minute sitcom or read a chapter in a book.
Another way is to push through by writing, but not writing what’s giving you the trouble. Take a 10 minute free write. Go through your list of prompts and do a couple and see if that breaks through.
