FOURTEEN DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY
It’s already started. Jill Stein has poked her head out of hibernation like the groundhog on February 2nd. Bernie Bros and Susan Sarandon, too. Now, Mr. Aw-right, Aw-right, Aw-right tells people to vote third party.
I’m nobody, but let me tell you in no uncertain terms – ABSOLUTELY, DO NOT VOTE THIRD PARTY.
Third parties are not a panacea. When political people, not talking heads, talk about third parties, you need to start in the down ballot races. You should only be voting third party (at this time), if that is your preference, for mayor, city council, sheriff.
When it comes to national elections, when you vote third party, you siphon votes away from one of the major parties. Rose Perot and Pat Buchanan took votes away from the Republican nominees; Ralph Nader took them away from Al Gore. Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein took votes away from Hillary Clinton, electing the incompetent and corrupt Donald Trump. The ‘free palestine’ fake ‘genocide’ people (who this week are setting fire to Paris and Marseille) took votes away from Kamala Harris, electing the even more incompetent, dementia sundowning and even more corrupt Donald Trump and his Cabinet of Crooks and Liars.
Not voting is not an option.
Voting third party is not an option.
I will not tell you how to vote. I would encourage you to vote for the Democrats on your ballot running. You’ll hear vote blue no matter who, and for the most part I agree with that. However, and this is a big however, my personal caveat is I won’t vote for antisemitics, Jew-haters, or people that use AIPAC as a boogeyman, but not CAIR, not Koch, not Heritage Foundation or anyone that I believe is terrorist-adjacent. My kids come first always and I won’t compromise on that.
You can ignore this election at your own peril; unfortunately, your vote or lack of it also imperils me and my family. Choose wisely.
