SPOILERS FOR LOUISE PENNY’S ARMAND GAMACHE BOOK SERIES

We’re just returned from our vacation. We spent a little over a week in
Canada, beginning with a couple of days in and about Montreal. For those of you who read this book series, you already know that the books take place in Montreal and Eastern townships near the Vermont border.

We didn’t get that far east, but we did see some of the Gamache series spaces, and I will share some of those stories and photos in other posts.

In the meantime this passage from the Beautiful Mystery reminded me of the struggles and sometimes delight in the packing experience.

What are your packing rules?

What are your essential items for packing?

And what are your most useless items that you’ve brought but never needed?

What other packing thoughts do you have?
